14 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. 15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. 16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness. (Jeremiah 33:14-16 KJV)
Many people are trapped in circumstances and situations that seem impossible for them to see a way out. Sometimes life can appear to be so overwhelming that even the sunlight doesn’t brighten up your spirit. But, hang on in there and keep the faith, because help is just around the corner!
I retired in 2002 from a career in the Illinois Department of Corrections that spanned more than 28 years. While working in corrections, I would often see inmates who were very creative in making things out of paper or cardboard boxes. They would even heat their food in the lights. But sadly for many of them, when they were released, that creativity seemed to disappear. As I mentioned, many people are trapped in what seems to be impossible to overcome. But I want you to know that, through God’s goodness and perfect mercy, we CAN experience spiritual healing today!
We CAN be spiritually cleansed and have divine favor. We MUST keep His covenant by living a holy and sanctified life. Start praising God, being thankful in whatever conditions you’re facing. God rewards faithfulness, and He will restore you through His divine justice!
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31 KJV)
God Bless You Today!

I really like the part about the inmates being creative but once released their creativity seemed to disappear. That really spoke to me because it is so true. When backed into a corner you can become very creative and it really will surprise you. You will realize that you have something in you that you never knew you had. But my question to myself is, why does that creativity disappear or why don’t we continue to use it, once the situation in our lives appears better?
Thank you Meridian R. May God bless you today as you sharpen your own creativity. And remember to always give the Lord the praise!
