Have you ever wanted to know more about what God wants from you? Have you taken any steps to find out? Check this out:

1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. 4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks. 5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”, for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:1-6 NKJV)

The word “faith” is a God-kind of word.  At some point in life, we will each have to answer certain life-defining questions like “Who am I?”, or “What on Earth am I here for?”  It’s time to add another one to the list:  “What is Faith?”

While going about your life, and even in the times when you struggle with the issues of life, whether you realize it or not, you will have to answer the question “What is Faith?” for yourself.

We see several examples in the above scripture of what was done by faith.When we learn for ourselves what faith is, we will learn what it takes to please God. I believe we win God’s approval by faith. So HAVE FAITH IN GOD.

We see demonstrations of faith every day.  We don’t normally see a record of our monthly paychecks in the bank on the 10th or the 20th of the month, but we expect our money to be there on the 1st and the 15th.  This is a demonstration of a person’s faith based on the results of past occurrences and future promises.

What God wants from us is faith.  Simply put, the Bible says we cannot please God without it.

So what will faith do for you?  Two things: Allow you to (1) see what God is doing; and (2) hear what God is saying.
