Growing up in a small Southern Illinois town in the 1980s, I was a fan of Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls. In relation to that, I have a few questions that I’m hoping to get some answers to:
- How many “fans” did the Chicago Bulls have prior to the arrival of Michael Jordan?
- How many did they have prior to the first three-peat?
- How many did they have after the second three-peat and subsequent end of the dynasty?
- The team is presently on the rise again, but I’ll stop there.
Here’s the point: When in life it appears that you’re “winning”, more people follow you, but when it appears that you’re “losing” it’s hard to find support. So…don’t worry about the “stat sheet” that others use to gauge your effectiveness.
Just DO YOU. And do not allow life to change your originality. Instead, allow your originality to change a life for the better!
To thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.
