“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man would lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
Deception began in the Garden of Eden when the serpent convinced Eve to entice Adam to eat of the forbidden fruit. Ever since that terrible event, humanity has been in need of reconciliation with God.
Reconciliation was made available once and for all by the love of God through the sacrifice of Jesus, who rose and conquered death. With this knowledge, we must allow the Holy Spirit to guide and direct our paths as we trust in the power of His love to conquer any hate we encounter.
Thousands of years have passed since the garden deception, and the devil is still deceiving individuals into being disobedient to the work and will of God. Some think they have all the time in the world to live a life of loose living and less loving; while denying confessing, repenting, and receiving salvation.
Every excuse is given as to why some don’t believe, why they don’t go to church, or why they don’t strive to live holy. Yet despite what others are doing, I believe love will conquer hate, but we each have to allow it to be so in our own lives. In view of this, my prayer for each of you reading this article today is that you would allow the Lord’s will to be done in YOUR life!
“We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to the will of God”(Romans 8:28 CSB).
